By early 2004, La Perla Living was also operational in Austria (Clubhotel Hinterthal) and began developing its first project, NonSuch Bay, on the island of Antigua. Towards the end of 2006, the Antigua operations expanded further with the acquisition of Jolly Harbour, where LPIL began creating its own new ‘Harbour Island’ subdivision.
As the La Perla brand continued expanding and embedding in the market, it continued to evolve. There was a noticeable trend towards more and easier travel, and the ability to work wherever it suits people best. This led to a refinement and enrichment of the La Perla concept – “International Living” – and a new pay-off; “Our world is your home”.
A number of important new tools and communication channels were developed to support the company, customers and investors. This included an extensive new website, and the development of a web-based internal brand manual and tool kit. The associated guidelines and specifications for items as diverse as brochures, advertisements and roads signs, ensured high-quality standards and brand alignment across all La Perla International Living communications worldwide. Advertising and PR initiatives at both corporate and project level reached a high point, and LPIL’s exclusive, worldwide proposition was made visual and tangible in a beautiful coffee-table book, The World of International Living.
